Field Service technician | Lincoln – OmahaGrand island

Job Description

The Field Service Technician’s responsibility is to diagnose issues, estimate, safety conscious, complete repairs, monitor, and train repair specialists. It is their duty to be the point of contact and actively listen and communicate with our customers. Using critical thinking to identify the proper plan of action.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES (include, but not limited to):

  • Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations

  • Diagnosing problem areas on roofs and their penetration points
  • Ability to give direction to a roofing crew if replacement is needed
  • Knowledgeable with multiple roofs such as TPO, Shingle, Metal, tar and gravel
  • Point of contact and working directly with customers
  • Provide training, guidance and opportunity for Repair Specialists
  • Documentation of work with notes, photos, emails and phone calls
  • Reports to the Service Department Manager and follow the directives of said manager


  • At least 2 years of experience in construction
  • High School diploma
  • Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to operate basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 80lbs
  • Able to go up and down a ladder
  • Ability to work independently

  • Construction Management Degree
  • Flat roofing experience
  • Shingle roofing experience
  • Gutter experience
