It’s time for another installment of We Are White Castle! We love getting to introduce you to the men and women who make up the team at White Castle Roofing. We want you to know that these are real people with real lives that take part in the same community that you do.

Today, meet Community Relations Coordinator Charissa Hansen!

Charissa joined the White Castle Roofing team recently, but her presence has already been profoundly felt, as she has improved our community presence enormously in just a few months. She’s the face and voice of White Castle in the marketplace, whether she’s calling homeowners after their roofs are completed to make sure they’re pleased, attending networking events to help meet new folks around town, or managing White Castle’s charitable giving through the Grand Giveaway, Free Roof Rescue, and other venues. Read on to get to know Charissa!

My birthday: April 16 (yesterday!!!)
I started at White Castle: August 2016
My favorite band: NEEDTOBREATHE
My favorite movie: Any old movie like Casablanca, Pillow Talk, or Magnificent Obsession. Or Mean Girls. There is no in between.
Life motto: 1. Practice makes permanent. 2. Work for a cause, not an applause.
My dream vacation: Olympic games!
Best dish I make: My crusted chicken with basil cream sauce caused my mother-in-love to change Christmas Eve dinner plans so we could make it. I’d say it’s up there.
My hobbies outside of work: 1. Reading! I absolutely love reading, and am always up for suggestions. 2. Exercising, namely weight lifting, which I’m sure surprises most people. 3. Hosting! If a family or group of friends is planning a gathering, I would almost always rather be together in a home than a restaurant, and I am always willing to host. We have yet to grow tired of it.
I can’t live without: A good book — primarily, THE Good Book.
