It’s time for another installment of We Are White Castle! We love getting to introduce you to the men and women who make up the team at White Castle Roofing. We want you to know that these are real people with real lives that take part in the same community that you do.

Today, meet bookkeeper Tatia Clark, one of the newest additions to the White Castle Roofing family!

Tatia joined White Castle Roofing just a couple months ago, in December 2016, but has already made an impact on our team and our customers. She’s one of the friendly voices you might hear when you call our office, especially if you need help with your invoice, and her years of experience and sweet nature are incredibly valuable to helping make each interaction with a customer a good one, especially as we look ahead to our busy roofing season. Read on to get to know Tatia better — in her own words!

My birthday: August 22

My favorite singer/band:
There’s so many, it’s hard to choose! I like so many different types of music. I’m going to qualify the question a little more, by saying favorite singer I have seen perform live. As a high school freshman, I got to see “old Blue Eyes” himself, Frank Sinatra, in the round at the Devaney Center, courtesy of my then-boyfriend’s father, who put in the sound system there.  I was only a few rows away from him, on the floor, and could see the blue of those eyes. Amazingly enough, I had the wits about my teenage head to save my ticket stub. Pretty cool experience.

My favorite movie:
My favorite movie (and I have a lot of them that I will watch over and over) has to be one called “Father Goose,” starring Cary Grant and Leslie Caron.  My mother and I never miss it when it comes on, and I have raised my boys on it as well. If you haven’t seen it, and you like good clean humor, you need to see this movie. So fun!

My life motto/quote:
“Glass half-full, or half empty kind of person?”
“Technically, the glass is always full.”
– Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory

My dream vacation:
My dream vacation would be to take my husband, sons, their wives and our grandchildren to stay in a castle in Scotland, and roam the Highlands.

The best dish I make:
According to my children and husband, I have four best dishes. They are, in no particular order, as it definitely depends on the weather or holiday:  “Mommy pizza” – which is just homemade pizza, but they like it better than take-out; baked beans; my family’s Punkin’ Pie recipe with my mother-in-law’s perfect crust recipe; and something we call “Gooch” – which is chicken and noodles with peas and carrots that you put over mashed potatoes. It’s a carbohydrate delight that gets begged for on cold wintry days.

Outside of work, I like to:
A lifelong hobby I have had is that I like to read just about anything. My newest hobby is enjoying time with my new grandchildren, Camden and Jaclynn. Another thing I like to do is flower gardening.  I haven’t had much time for it in the last few years, but plan to get back into it this coming year.

I can’t live without:
My husband, Scott, or my boys, Dexter and Ryder, and their respective partners, Ali and Alex, and my grandchildren.
